Prestige Worldwide Splits Week 6 of Spring Ball
FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT IS THIS COMING SUNDAY JUNE 20, 2009
Sunday rolled around for the 6th week of Spring Softball and as the players rolled in to Mid American Ball Yard they just hoped they didn’t have to insult the Rats of Indiana again. Last week PW won both games fairly easily by getting revenge on Bummed Knees and once again destroying the Rats of Indiana. Thus, PW finally got their swagger back and were ready to take on the Yellow Tight Pant Fairies.
As PW took the field as the home team and Mike Lemmink looked still drunk from acting like it was Halloween at Ohio U for the weekend.
And left fielder Matt Bailey hobbled out to left with a bummed ankle and missing contact lenses. Why was Matt hobbling you asking? Well Matt Bailey got into a car accident over the weekend when he was doing some pretty immature things while driving with a PW groupie. Reports came out that they saw the groupie flee the scene while Matt Bailey was left at the car with terrible sprained ankle and some minor cuts and bruises. Nobody really knows the true story though. Ownership is declining comment until they get all the details. PW did give a public announcement to PW Newsletter stating "We do not know all the details and whether drugs or alcohol was related. We have heard rumors about this groupie who tends to slip roofies in peoples drinks. We hope Bailey was not a victim of this. If he was a victim I hope the public realizes he was a victim not an attacker. We have spoken with Matt Bailey and his family and as of right now everything looks like it will clear up in a matter of days. We hope to see Matt on the field as good ol T BONE tearing it up like he has been all year."
GAME 1
The game started off slow after 2 innings the score was 2-1 Yellow Fairies. But by the fourth and seventh inning both teams crossed the plate a combined 32 times. PW did most of their damage with 2 outs and the bottom of the order really stepped up. Matt Bailey did sit out from the field some inning but still managed to go 3-4; Jeff Whitehouse also went 3-4 with team high 3 runs scored. And for hungover Mike Lemmink, well his season average (.500) continues to plummet and went 1-4 for the game. Other notable players were James Sims, who went 3-4 with who knows how many RBIs, and infamous TURTLE went 3-4. Brian Manning also turned his best game of the year going a perfect 3-3. Turtle has shot his average from .250 to .524 in just two weeks. Also Gab Bailey & Matt Ziegler hit .500 for the game!
But the drama unfolded in the 7th inning. PW took the field in the Top of 7th up 2. When PW came back to bat they were down 3. Bottom of the 7th if PW gets some hits and runs the bases smart they win, if not they lose. PW scored two runs and had a man on 3rd to win the game. Mark Ledonne came to the plate. Mark started the season on fire, but it looks as if Hoots has been riding Mark to hard with her mouth and uhhhh and yeah you know. Mark grounded out to SS to end the game. Mark showed the emotion as he shook hands with Yellow Tight Pant Fairies and PW tried to pick him up but instead he yells over to the Fairies, “Go get smaller pant size for next game, your butt ain’t tight enough.”
Anyways PW was down after that lost but next game brought boombox game. And who would they play? Well, it was step up from the Rats to “Beer Run”

Hecklers of the game – CLIFF HODAPP – He claims to be a fan of PW but continues to heckle the team.
GAME 2
As PW went to bat music was blaring for each player very unorganized might I add. Notable songs to get played for players was: James Sims came out to Taylor Swift “our song”, Marty Huber “Britney Spears”, Matt Bailey “Pop Lock and Drop it” and Matt Ziegler “What is Love”.
As the music played PW started playing worse and after 4 innings was actually losing to this god awful team 6-7. But after the cut the music and look of lets get down to business came into PW players eyes the game was over and PW won 18-8 after 5 innings.
Notable players in Game 2 were: Ryan Shelton 3-4; Scott Biegler 3-4, 4 Runs Scored; Mike Lemmink was feeling better after sweating alcohol to go 4-4 and 3 Runs Scored.

FAN OF THE GAME – Ralf West – the old man who sat on PWs stands and hit on and said dirty things to all the fine ladies sitting in the stands.

More fans the better. Management and Ownership of Prestige Worldwide will set up a meet and greet with the players at the bar of Mid American Ball Yard before the game starting at 6:30. First game is at 7:20 and next is at 8:30.
Festivities afterward will continue at Take 5
2. Dog Night – Even though this happens every Sunday – As many dogs as possible will be the goal.
